It was a feisty, traditional British cup tie, with bobbly pitches, poor light, refereeing controversy, goals & a penalty shoot out! Plenty to keep the neutrals interested.
It was also the first game since we lost Jimmy Mulvihill, a valued member of the club and father to midfielder Danny, who played in this game, was voted man of the match & scored in the penalty shoot. We would like to attribute this victory to his memory.
